Wine and Cheese Reception 2010
On October 1st the Squamish Community Foundation distributed grant cheques to this years successful recipient's.
- Evans Lake Forest received $3000.00 to upgraded the water well and water distribution system at the Evans Lake Forest Education Centre.
- North Shore Schizophrenia Society received $2300.00 to start a Reaching Out project in Squamish to expand mental health information awareness and education opportunities
- Squamish Historical Society was granted $1200.00 to purchase building materials to complete their new home at the West Coast Railway Park - The Wilkie Building
- The Squamish Seniors Centre received $500 to go towards patio furniture or a barbecue at the Seniors Centre
The foundation also took the opportunity that evening to thank it's donor who had donated $1000 and more by presenting them with a framed Roger Quesnel print.
